Interline Creative Staff “Lights Up” New Ads

Problem:
Juno Lighting Group, an Acuity Brands Company, has its own creative department, but the design team is often overloaded with other work. Juno turned to Interline to complete a number of print ads for placement in various magazines. The advertisements were for their Aculux®, Indy™, Acculite™ and Juno® lighting fixtures.

Solution:
Interline followed Juno’s corporate guidelines down to the last detail, producing ads that utilized an innovative new strategy. In addition to the larger main image and creative concept that took up the majority of the page, descriptions and images of Juno’s products bordered the page and gave the reader additional detail about individual products in the family. These ads delivered more information to the audience in an innovative way.

Results:
Juno was thrilled with the new design, and the response the ads generated. The strategy of bordering the main ad with information on related products resulted in more specific requests for information. Interline continues to assist Juno in advertising, and has created full-page ads, spread ads, and works with Juno on a number of other creative projects.

Media Planning Using Sound Data Analysis

Problem:
Like many of Interline’s clients, Juno Lighting Group, an Acuity Brands Company, had a need for media planning. Juno requested help with determining which magazines to advertise in to target their audience of architects, facility owners and contractors. Due to limited time and the need to focus on other tasks, Juno relied on Interline to conduct the detailed research needed to implement a profitable advertising strategy.

Solution:
The media experts at Interline reviewed hundreds of potential magazines in order to develop a media planning strategy for Juno. With an accurate idea of Juno’s audience and the customers they wanted to target, Interline called, interviewed and researched magazines, gleaning thorough and unduplicated information on readership, each magazine’s likely audience, and ensuring that each publication up for consideration was BPA audited. Interline ran a detailed analysis of the responses generated for Juno during past print advertising campaigns, and assessed the strength and weakness of each particular publication in regards to Juno’s objectives.

Results:
Interline’s media planning strategy resulted in a recommendation for print advertising, which allowed  Juno to advertise successfully in three magazines, two of which included targeted ad buys in LDNA and Light Directory. Juno was impressed with the responses their ads received from placement in the magazines, and the quantity and quality of the leads that came in. Interline continues to provide media planning services to Juno.

Interline Creative Group’s creative team recently did a trade advertisement for the new Juno Lighting Group, an Acuity Brands company, online product selector. Like many product-based websites, Juno has a large volume of products on display. Instead of combing through hundreds of similar luminaries in the search of the “perfect match,” customers can now select their exact requirements to narrow their searches. Interline’s ad informed Juno customers of the new functionality and easier searching process. The ad used the concept of “finding a needle in a haystack” in a unique, creative way.

Product Poster

Juno Lighting Group, an Acuity Brands company, offers a wide range of lighting fixtures in different designs and styles, and the company wanted to showcase the versatility of their products with a product poster. Interline’s creative advertising team developed a product poster displaying Juno’s 2” LED downlights and adjustables. The poster explained the main benefits of the product line with bulleted copy, and also displayed crisp images of the different styles, colors and models available for circular and square adjustables. The poster allowed designers and builders to get a visual sense of the styles and models that might best fit their projects.

Product brochures are a great way to inform potential customers of the features and specifications of a product while remaining brief and to-the-point. Interline’s creative advertising team designed a product brochure explaining the features and benefits of the Juno Lighting Group, an Acuity Brands company, 2” LED downlights and adjustables. The brochure contained detailed photos, a line drawing, and descriptions of the product line’s most important distinguishing features.
